One of my earliest memories is from preschool. A teacher in another classroom mentioned corduroy, and I guess the kids didn’t know what it was, so she came into our class to see if anyone was wearing corduroy. I was! So she pulled me into her classroom to have me model them. They were pants, not shorts though.

Land's End polo shirts are on sale for $25. I've also got several Brooks Brothers polos that cost a lot more. But the Lands End have proven more durable. They don't have any logo at all on them though. I haven't worn an alligator shirt in forever.

While stretching my left arm turned blue. There were pins and needles along the 2-5 th fingers.

Instead of waiting two years, see markelle's fultz, I made an appt with the expert at Hopkins.

The issue may well be controlled with a new set of exercises.

If you knew the anatomy and had a chronic shoulder you would think this would happen to all chronic shoulders.

Looking forward to rejoining the long tossers in a week or two.

Two years is a little long for me.

Heavy and kind of tingly, would get me to a TOS specialist by sundown, as the sx noted above did.

I have a few I can sell you for $79.

Parked near a vehicle earlier with personalized Virginia In God We Trust plates: B3TO, with a Dallas Cowboys license frame.

That person and I have very different views on things.

i know, i chose my words carefully when i said 'do your best' instead of something like 'stop them'.

Spent the entire overnight at a fatal fire in a hoarding house. Victim was 4ft inside the front door.

I’m sitting home flipping through the channels and I come across LaBamba on 1 of the Encore channels; I start watching the movie that I’ve seen a couple times and while watching it I decide to google “the day the music died”, well that shows me today is the 60th “anniversary” of that tragic incident and I read that the plane took off at 12:55am, time on my phone at that time is 12:55am, I know there was a difference of an hour due to time zones but that shit freaked me the fuck out

Damn.

thanks Milty. Fortunately stuff like this doesn't happen too often in our demographic. A little more frequent in nearby communities where we go to assist. It's not horribly stressful for me at this point, but I hope I never get to the point where I become indifferent to it <gallows humor nonwithstanding>.

Pretty sure that will never happen with me. I keep getting rid of stuff and am trying to basically go minimalist as much as possible. I’m always slightly annoyed when someone gives me a gift (besides money/gift cards) because it will invariably be something I don’t want/need and will get rid of soon enough. I could probably pack up ALL my belongings in a hour if I hustle.

yeah, i dislike getting stuff I don't want/need, but take it in the spirit offered. Due to way too many hobbies and interests I have way way way too much stuff that I own, but I purge very often </PiP> so luckily I don't have the hoarder gene.

Oh, and I just returned from a re-kindle that was dispatched around 10:30PM. We kinda figured it was gonna happen since we couldn't enter the dwelling due to the amount of junk and structural damage due to fire and weight with the bazillion gallons of water we had to flow into the place. Of course much less urgency tonight since we knew what we were dealing with and with no life hazard it was treated basically as a dumpster fire.

I think my best friend from high school might be a hoarder. I lived with him in state colege and we had an extra bedroom that was basically filled with boxes of his stuff. In the 2-3 years we lived there, he never completely unpacked or even put his bed together. He slept on the floor in a sleeping bag for most of the time. Now he lives i the DC area and bought a house over a decade ago. I mentioned stopping by to see him and he steered me away, which is really not like him. We've been best friends since kindergarten. Don't keep in touch as much as we used to, but there'd be no reason for him to keep me from visiting. Since that incident, he's posted a few things on facebook that make me think his whole house is filled with boxes. He's even said that he's concerned he'll die one day and nobody will be able to find him. That was within the last year. I'm planning to force myself into a visit when I come home next summer.
