GET STUFFED! Judicial Appointments and POLITICS

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
Watching the Dodgers/Red Sox final innings. It is amazing how a manager takes out a pitcher who is loose & dominating through almost 7 innings, Rich Hill of Dodgers, and brings in nervous reliever(s) who get shellacked. 4 run lead gone. Managers do it all the time, big mistake!

More good tweets like this and I'll consider voting for him in the re-elect

I'm not even certain y'all have ever read one of my ninety two thousand six hundred and forty seven previous posts, but I'm a fan of understatement and sarcasm.

*serious hat on* If you'd like to blame Trump or the Republican Party for the mail bombings, the guy does seem to be a Trumpist so you've at least got some standing. I would object because I think people are responsible for their own actions and political rhetoric is always combative so it's a bit cheap to try to score points when a nutter on the other side transgresses, but seems reasonable the guy was directly influenced by Trump's rhetoric so I guess it's not completely an unfair tie. Blaming Trump for the shooting in Pittsburgh or suggesting the GOP is pro-Nazi or whatnot is pretty gross and dumb. Try not to do that. *serious hat off*

Come on, JH. It was Trump standing up there this past week saying he was a nationalist. It was Trump saying there are good people on both sides. It's Miller in Trump's cabinet who is a known white nationalist. Many other people in his administration have spoken at these pro-nazi rallies and events. You are just completely full of it if you're going to try to say this isn't a known part of this administration and these people aren't being propped up and let to do their thing by the vast majority of the GOP. Lots of things could be done by GOP senators and congressmen to try to push back against this stuff, but almost nobody is doing anything. The GOP is the party of the white nationalist movement in this country and those people are pro nazi. They stand at their rallies and meetings with nazi flags and wear nazi armbands and say things that are straight out of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

The first step to repairing your party is to admit you have a problem with nazis. They have taken control of your party and your boys are going along with it. Maybe it's out of political expedience, but the longer it lasts and the worse it gets, the more it looks like they are part of it and agree with the basic tenets.

Guess it’s that other Republican Party that runs political ads calling Soros a billionaire JEW who is bank rolling SOCIALISM. Or that our former president was a MUSLIM.

It’s fine. Good people.

Blaming Trump is not gross. He and his cohorts are creating an environment of fear and anger. This has happened era after era and this is simply the newest iteration.

Where yesterday‘s incident seems less tired to Trump, he absolutely open the door through his association with the likes of Bannon and friends, and he blew the doors off the hinges with his good people comment, and he’s never really back down from his racial division game plan. I have no reason whatsoever to think that he is not a racist. It in his DNA. I also think that he’s a homophobe, and a whole stew of other horrible traits.

There is little doubt that he enabled a shooting in Kentucky, and he’s 100% complicit in the bombings. Pittsburgh is a byproduct of his being an enabler. His good guy with a gun stuff, and refusal to it realistically entertain any type of productive discussion about limiting access to weapons, open racism, a game plan of division, etc. and so on.

The big fat bizarro orange haired genie that came out of the bottle, brought a whole a lot of horrible with it, and we can get all of that shit back in the lamp. Given that the genie seems to take some perverse pleasure in the popularity with certain people that their behavior brings, there’s really no way to combat this.

Does the imam who incites violence against the infidel not bear some responsibility? Does Hitler get a pass because he didn’t physically kill millions with his own hands? Pretending there is even a question whether Trump bears a measure of responsibility is either stupendously naive or willfully ignorant.

“Good people on both sides,” “Take him out on a stretcher,” “I’ll play your legal fees,” “anyone who can body slam is my kind of guy,” “Enemy of the people.” This is a man who incites people to violence. Given the power of his pulpit he bears an even greater responsibility. In any truly civilized country he would be in jail for incitement to murder.

And you can’t claim you’re a member of The Party but don’t support the Fürher. The Party is the foundation upon which Trump stands. Without the active or tacit support of The Party he has nothing. So, don’t kid yourself: Unless and until Trump is removed from office a vote for anyone who supports him is a vote for Trump.

I guess there might be some Republican out there who'd like to take their party back from Trump's current nationalist populist orientation, but none of them actually seem to be holding office. I don't think the anti-Trumpers have done much in Republican primaries either.

I think it's also relevant that the anti Soros stuff has been around for awhile now, and it links the American populist right with the central European populist right as well.

It seems like the natural cycle of things. The grandparents who remember the horrors associated with the last time are dead. So the populace is ignorant to the lessons of history. And authoritarians by nature capitalize on ignorance and fear. I'm sure it's also a backlash to the globalization of the 21st century.

(Brandy) only hinted at Halladay's personal issues during her Hall of Fame speech last July, when she said, "Roy would want everyone to know that people are not perfect. We're all imperfect and flawed in one way or another. We all struggle."

Big turnout so far.

Some predicting presidential election level turnout.

I would get tired of looking at myself if i looked like that.

right, there would have been all sorts of lynchings and vigilante groups protecting the white race. Good thing we dodged all that.
