The story itself is not necessarily implausible, but the way he uses the accusation to launch into an anti-metoo, anti-PC diatribe about how no one is listening to him... when his story has just now seen the light of day... seems... suspicious in that it seems obviously motivated by something more than the simple wish to tell the truth, and seems to take exception to things that have yet to happen really.

But it deserves its fair hearing like everything else.

It’s retribution for Kavanaugh. Somebody wants to put Booker in the same position as what they thought Kavanaugh was in (i.e., unjustly accused) and they now want to: (a) see Booker squirm; and (b) put Booker in what they think will be the hypocritical position of insisting on a presumption of innocence. And what better person to accuse than a black Dem who was on the Judiciary Committee and to make it an accusation of gay harassment, too. The whole thing is transparently amateurish and partisan.

idk, i think if there was a lot of thought behind this actual news services would be catching on to it. i dno't think it's an organized movement bc this was a dumb way to do it, and they're more calculated than that. I said it was fishy but I can't outright dismiss it bc that would be hypocritical
