Actually it was trading under $300 for about 30 minutes at the open yesterday but the last part is dead on. Trying to time the market is a fool's errand. The goal should be to buy in with 10% of the bottom and sell within 10% of the top.

That is timing the market. The best timer of the market is Buffet. He sits there patiently until the stocks go on sale.

Take a look at the Shiller PE. It was higher ONLY ONCE.

It's funny how relative age is as you age. I still surprisingly know a lot of 20-somethings who I can flirt with because I'm so out of their range its almost cute to them. But funny when 40 is a younger woman...

I don't look remotely Italian. Some Celt or Viking must have taken one of my ancestors as a concubine as I have lighter complexion, reddish highlights when younger in hair and some freckles on arms and legs. Endomorph.
