Something tells me Glenn Simpson did not make a mistake. Something tells me the co-founder of Fusion GPS was dead-on accurate when he testified that Christopher Steele told him the FBI had a “human source” — i.e., a spy — inside the Trump campaign as the 2016 presidential race headed into its stretch run.
From painstaking research, Nunes and committee staff believe they have identified such a spy.
.............
By now, Nunes has learned that if he is catching flak, he is over the target.
Giuliani: We don't know for sure if there was a spy in the campaign

Pennsylvania Republicans are "hitting the panic button" over Barletta's candidacy, fearing that the underfunded and largely unknown Christiana's clear over-performance on Tuesday night is a warning shot for this fall's campaign against Democratic incumbent U.S. Bob Casey.
In a startling piece published Thursday, The Washington Examiner ran down the problems with Barletta's candidacy, with observers blasting the ex-Hazleton mayor's "lackadaisical, disorganized effort" during the spring campaign.
"The sense is, nobody knows what the f**k he's doing," a Republican strategist with Pennsylvania ties told the newspaper. "He's not really working it hard. It's a sad thing, because people like Lou."
The same strategist added that "Casey should be vulnerable. But Lou is just like a ghost."
As The Examiner notes, Barletta raised a lackluster $500,000 in 2017, increasing it to $1.2 million during the first quarter of 2018.
One strategist told the newspaper that Barletta is having trouble connecting with donors.
"Of the 20 people, 15 of them fell asleep," one GOP operative said of an event at Philadelphia's Union League that netted an anemic $48,000 for Barletta's campaign. "He's just not a good speaker."
That primary season fund-raising tally "placed [Barletta] fourth among the Republicans running in competitive Senate contests," but it was still peanuts compared to Casey, who's sitting on $10 million and counting as the general election campaign revs us.
GOP strategists fret that Barletta won't be able to match Casey's fund-raising prowess.

The operative also said that Barletta's campaign has been disorganized and that selling the right story in the right areas of the state has been a constant issue. At one point, according to the operative, Barletta suggested having Trump come to the Philadelphia area for a fundraiser in April or May, but the idea got scrapped immediately due to the president's unpopularity in the region.
"You don't bring Trump down here. He's poison," the operative said. "The problem is the campaign seems disorganized, disjointed. I don't think they have a game plan ... You've got to use the message where the message sells. It's alright to talk about not letting any illegal immigrants in, but you don't use that in the city of Philadelphia, or Reading ... or Lancaster."
