Don't think anyone confirmable by the Senate would end the special counsel. I guess he could try a bank shot to move someone already in the cabinet (Pruitt?) to acting AG awaiting confirmation, with the understanding that he'd fire Mueller. It's not at all clear to me how that would be less objectionable than just firing Rosenstein and asking whoever is next person up at DOJ to fire Mueller.

Also don't think Sessions is quitting at this point unless Trump formally asks him to resign, and Trump is a conflict averse beta cuck.

King is doing something no one else is doing in the country; she has tons of volunteers that have been canvassing and calling for the previous six months. she was going to defeat Hartman pretty handily in the primary.
