So whose map was chosen, or was it the courts who did it?

None of the submitted maps were chosen; this is the 'remedial' map they had drawn.

I don't love it, but it's fair

Okay, so I was in 15 and am now in 9... Who's representing new PA-9?

A Republican

Remarkably unhelpful. It appears to be Barletta according to Dave Wasserman's twitter where he's run though them district by district for PVI values.

it's an open seat (Barletta is going for Senate) going into the November 2018 race, which a Republican will win

I ended up moving from district 11 to district 8. Will they mail me a new voter registration card or will I have to chase them down for it? :x

Your municipality decides where you vote, so nothing will need to be sent.

I think Berks/Chester/montco would've been better as a blob but they cared about county lines.

The virtue of county lines as a guide is there's an objective non-partisan quality to them as in some cases they date to the 1680s. The downside is in some cases they date to the 1680s before those areas were settled by Europeans and the lines make little geographic sense in the twenty first century.

Would guess there are too many people to do that?

Also this set up gives more split, compact districts.

Here’s an interactive map

https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mi ... 22743&z=12

Looks like I’m lumped in with bucks county/district 1 instead of 4 like I thought

Get to vote against Fitzpatrick. So that's nice!

Seems Brady's old district is now chopped up between 4 different ones. I got shifted to Dwight Evans.

Where do the people vying for Brady's old seat move to? Pa 5?

Guess some new names will have to surface too for either district 4 or 2 depending where Boyle is running.

My district(PA-9) is going to be totally non-competitive, but it's a really fascinating map. Costello got screwed on this one, and he still has to run against Houlahan, which isn't great news for him in a district that went +9 for Clinton. It'll be interesting to see what path he takes in the election now, he almost has to run more moderate.

Boyle lives in PA-2, which should leave the door wide open for a fun Democratic primary in PA-4. Fitzpatrick's in a dogfight in the new PA-1 and Meehan's seat is a layup for the Dems now.

Lazer is going to 5, Li is deciding between 3 and 5 (I'd bet she goes 5) , and the PA7 Dems are going to decide between 4, 5 and 6 based on where they reside I assume.

I'm PA6, would be great to see a Dem to primary Houlahan

I saw her speak once and was not impressed at all. What more should I know about her? She seems to be the chosen one by the invisible Dem hands.

The shift of PA3 to take up more of center City hurt a lot of Dems looking to take over Brady's spot. They get pushed to PA5 which has become more suburban or would have to primary Evans, who is shaping up to be he successor to Brady as the head of the Democratic machine

Where does Lamb go?

Really confused as to where all the PA7 people go to? Sheehan and company? They live all over the place.

Lamb will remain in 18 for the special and then he goes to the 12th which would be a closer matchup than the current makeup.

The PA7 was bound to see some fallout if this went through; I assume most will stick it out in the PA5 and face a couple castoffs from PA1 (Brady's old seat) while I assume one or two will test the waters in PA6 to primary Houlahan. Having almost literally 10 people run in one district and only 1 in the next seat when they are both open seats would be simply silly. It looks like the PA 6 almost gets to Conshy

Sheehan will be in the 5th
