Fox reporting that Jones was ahead by 10% a few days ago was an attempt at voter suppression. Tell the Dem voters that Jones was so far ahead that some figure it's in the bag and why go vote.

I'd think that if they were trying to impact the election, it would be more aimed at getting the republicans who didn't want to vote for a pedophile (but would rather not have a democrat in office) to actually go to the polls

I think the main lesson may be that a pro-choice candidate can't get elected to statewide office in Alabama, along with a number of other states.

Not sure whether that was ever in doubt before, but Moore winning the godliness sweepstakes despite his sexual vampirism certainly points it out in stark terms.

* not that pacino is wrong at all about the Alabama state party, given the exaggerated and inaccurate way they've portrayed Jones' views.

Too early to get hopeful. Moore is up w/ 5% in, but not indicative of anything. Early votes were looking good for Jones, the margins are looking better looking at Trump and Romney's performances

Alabama is pretty much generally worse off than most civilized and developed countries.
