What is Russia banging a drum about? Advising to not placate NK? I know how they (selfishly) feel about sanctions. Do they want to incite a war? That seems like a really bad endgame for everyone.

Putin playing it perfectly. NK nuclear capabilities most likely propped up by Russian technology(which was shipped over via Ukraine[which keeps Putin clean]) but sits in the corner of the room yelling that it isn't fair and we should treat them better and our escalation is bad(even though its incited by Russian interference).

Kuait bought stuff, and Trump is prod to report delivery happened under his presidency. Things like Boeing 777s likely ordered years ago without any political effort (not discounting the strategic political value).
