absolutely nothing. or, according to Adam Schiff:

@RepAdamSchiff

If President fired Bob Mueller, Congress would immediately re-establish independent counsel and appoint Bob Mueller. Don't waste our time.

That's not a threat unless his GOP colleagues agree

not sure how long Donnie has been babbling, but he was up to declaring his presidential victory in the snippet I caught.

edit - Just LoL'd. Trump said communism has destroyed every country it has been tried... Might be a matter of time, but ... pssst, China... Vietnam... He made it sound like its a world wide done deal. I am sure he just does not know.

I agree. And I think rosenstein may be done by monday

Pretty sure Rosenstein needs to go first, because the Deputy AG is the only one w/ the authority to fire Mueller. He would need to go full Nixon.

Gee, I'd never have guessed it's a political issue, thanks

who gives a fuck about impeachment. The process will pressure R "leadership" as well as rank & file, and drive drumpf and his filthy mob nuts, and out

So, you are saying that we should trust the process?

Says he spoke to Putin personally, says crash and riots will fix US economy

Trump says give Russia a pass because "We're going to win something important later on and they won't be opposed to what we're doing."

Asinine content aside, it's striking how much sharper he sounds in this interview.

So crazy to see that...yes he's slightly more coherent but FOX was still in anti-putin mode and he just barreled in. I see shit like this and it really makes me go Monkeyboy with the Russian conspiracy stuff.

Welcome aboard the crazy train.

But really, I spent the first few months thinking this was mostly about money laundering, but he's literally doing Putin's work for him pretty much across the board. No way Donald Trump, real estate scam artist and serial bankruptcy guy, cares that much about NATO. There's just no way. He's an asset for sure. I have honestly come to believe that.

Thing is, if you are Mueller or leaders in Congress, it's almost better to keep that under wraps and just get rid of him through impeachment with the obstruction stuff. How big of a blow to the country would it be to find out the president is a russian stooge? I'm guessing it would be pretty damaging. It will be interesting to see how this is pursued.

While the con man has you looking at the question of is he guilty, will he fire the special prosecutor, what the connection to Russia between him and his family , Etc. Behind the curtain the real s*** is going down. Healthcare is being worked on, or worked over, in a back room where you can't see anything. Other Republican senators are disallowed from knowing what's going on because they might not be totally on board. The public is kept out of the conversation because it's going to either cost a lot of taxes to cover people, or there's not going to be any coverage so the taxation doesn't matter. What else is getting beaten about the head and shoulders this week? Perhaps the reduction in size of bears ears? What civil liberty have you lost? What protection to the environment has been held underwater until the bubble stop? What have you and I ignored this week that will have lasting effect on the country while Trump plays the fiddle in the Rose Garden to keep our attention?

While Pence continues to Proclaim the terrific honor it is to work with Trump to orchestrate his agenda, you need to take a serious look to see why a career politician would seemingly bet against his career like that. Look hard, and you just might see what's going on.

I think thephan is right. A bunch of,people are willingly ending (or at least seriously damaging) their political careers in order to destroy the environment, exploit public lands, and establish an oligarchy.

Of course they are. It's their heart's desire.

It seems like the russian/obstruction thing is the fastest way to get rid of them. It's possible to pay attention to both that and the healthcare issue. They are cut from the same cloth of greed.

no, they're absolutely not willingly giving up their political careers. Quite the contrary. They've seen how the SCROTUS is seemingly invincible and they think they are too if they go along with the program. They no longer have political fear.
