I'm sure Trump reached out to Putin through a back channel and Putin knows Trump vetoing this would just hurt Putin's puppet administration.

Well the WH is led by a member of the GOP and they certainly do not care. The AG he appointed hasn't even been briefed on it according to testimony just yesterday.

So they pass a sanctions deal that Trump et al will find a way to soften. Meanwhile, they have a collection of people from their party who have apparently been "working" with Russians behind the scenes for who knows what purpose and the GOP congress does next to nothing.

So color me unimpressed with the dog a pony show designed to make it look like they're doing something. The obvious thing to do is staring them right in the face. The stuff that has been verified is enough to impeach Trump and his comrades. And that's not counting all the stuff we don't know yet. I'll believe the GOP isn't a bunch of traitorous slimebags when they actually do something to address the problem sitting in the WH.

There's plenty of evidence but the question is whether the facts rise to the level of obstruction of justice and, even if they do, what would it mean in terms of indicting a sitting President.
