so on another truth-seeking mission: lots of FB reports of a 'drug fueled vatican male orgy' broken up by police. It sure smells like fake news to me. Lots of tabloids quoting one italian newspaper.

Anybody have any superior googling skills to flesh this one out? (/PiP)

Let me google that for you

The Offspring isn't a band I could expect most people to care about nowadays but Smash is a stone cold classic socal punk album and never really gets the credit it deseves alongside its alt rock radio peers. Maybe it's because The Offspring nerfed their cred by releasing a series of absurd novelty tracks around the turn of the century. But even Ixnay on the Hombre and Americana are pretty loaded with great album cuts despite the band losing their interest in being taken seriously. At least their 40s didn't consist of dousing themselves in eyeliner and making Broadway musicals.
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America

Was coming here to say this. Pretty fly for a white guy, why don't you get a job, original prankster, etc. are pretty weak and not representative of what they started out as or who they really were.

Smash is incredible, right from the opening drums of nitro it just never comes back down. Love that album.

Another band from that era, while not having an album nearly as good as Smash but went down the same path is Sugar Ray. They started out as a some kind of rap-core beastie boys wanna bes and then after fly they totally changed the style

System of a Down included Sugar Ray in the "thanks" section of their debut album. They were part of that whole crew of bands whose careers were kickstarted by Fear Factory being pissed at the LA Club scene.

Advertising is a funny game. This photo of my son's kindergarten teacher came up on a page for a certification test I am taking:

Here is Cookeville's Sam Brooks:

I'd rather learn from her, too.

Is there any place to rent movies anymore? I checked on amazon, iTunes and google and the only option is to buy it.

Redbox, but it sounds like you want to stream not go into the world.
Quick Google shows that GoGo is wrong with regards to the Kiwi and the Banana.

Sometimes movies get pre-released where all you can do is buy it for a few weeks, then it becomes available for rental (if you're looking to rent a new release that is).

One night I drunkenly spent like $16 to buy Now You See Me, not realizing I wasn't renting it, and to this day I am shamed by that purchase.

It's not on Netflix, it's not available to rent on google, amazon, iTunes or Vudu and it's not in Redbox. It's not even like it's an obscure movie. I'm looking for hunger games mocking jay volume 1. Volume 2 is on Hulu and I saw the first two already and just wanted to finish the series. I really don't feel like buying it digitally because then it will just sit there forever in my amazon library annoying me that I have the third movie in a four part series that I probably will never rewatch.

 I did the same thing with the matrix trilogy. I wanted to watch the first one and wasn't paying attention and bought them instead of renting. It was on a cable company that I don't even have anymore so I can't even access it. Fucking ass

Ashamed? Hell, I'd wear that purchase as a badge of honor for eight bucks if you want to unload it. Love that Jessie eisenberg. That chick in it ain't too bad either.
