from Hitchcock to The Hulk (the movie thread)

Detective jimmy Apple.

I swear I saw something similar on YouTube, but I can't quite place it. It's on Amazon prime video, it's free and stupid. For probably 99 percent of the population, I would recommend this movie only while under a certain substance, and even then the majority will think it's a train wreck.

man this looks so average, possibly bad, but it's got me hyped and I'm a sucker so I'll probably watch it at some point like on TNT or something. This also led me to discovering Legend of Bruce Lee on Netflix, which i've never seen before. I'll try giving that one a shot.

In 1964, Bruce Lee took on Wong Jack Man in one of the most controversial fights of all time. Watch the trailer for Birth of the Dragon, the film inspired by this true event.

I'd rather watch a biopic about Lee and William Cheung with a Donnie Yen cameo as Ip Man. Start with that one and focus on him learning Wing Chun and then going on to develop Jeet Kune Do. Save this for the sequel.

Valerian is destined to become a failure at the box office but will ultimately become a huge cult classic in 5-10 years.

I am curious to see it in the theater. I don't think anyone regretted seeing Fifth Element on the big screen and this seems like a successor of sorts. the lead actors really seem like lightweights but maybe they'll surprise me. I probably won't get around to it though

I've been hearing about it for quite a while but always within the framework of how it is going to bomb.

I thought the plot and structure were pretty funky but liked the characters and action and enjoyed it overall. thought Kong himself was pretty cool, too
