Do kids today still do this? I remember it being a kids game back then. 11 to 15 years old was your prime. You knew who paid well and you protected your turf because it was passed on and you earned it. If there was an outsider infringing upon your turf he was was met with consequences. Once played back yard badminton with a figure skater who was a couple of places away from making the Olympic team--I never played in such an intense and competitive backyard game.
