omg my team at work just surprised me with a weekend getaway for 2 in Mt Dora as a wedding gift. holy shit. these are all kids making less than 40K a year, had me damn near tearing up in the meeting. just speechless right now

Had to go see a Dr. this morning to schedule a colonoscopy. (Fun, fun--why I couldn't have done this over skype or something rather than drive an hour both ways I don't understand but whatever.) Anyway, on the way, I saw possibly the second worst thing one can see on the highway--a horse was killed by a car. I didn't see the actual accident, but I saw the dead horse in the road. It was pretty awful.
