How the fuck do you think it feels. #fakenews

I do like that one of the main anchors on CNN mutter "I'd probably start with a different opener."

Yeah I rolled my eyes when I heard her scream that. "Hillary didn't answer". No shit, ding bat. Would you?

If you personally own a bunch of Apple stock, and you think "I would never buy more at this price," perhaps that's an argument that you shouldn't be holding what you have at this price. if you wouldn't buy more, why hold?

That's simultaneously true, and kind of "whatever". Why balance a portfolio? just use every spare penny to buy Apple - or not!

And have you looked at the map of all that land you'd sell off? It's not like land is fungible - you have to 'package' up several hundred square feet of it - in the case of a bunch of federal land, probably several hundred square miles - to have a parcel anyone's interested in buying. USA owns it because no one else actually would. And if you sell the 1 quarter-mile portion in the midst of hundreds of 'junk' sq miles that Exxon lusts after, you have to give them the complicated easements to get into it, etc etc.

And if Exxon comes to you saying they're more than happy to buy up those hundreds of sq miles of junk land at a very reasonable price, grab your wallet - or treasury - with both hands
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

I am choosing to avoid the news outlets and rely on this thread for updates about Hell Day aka 9/11 v. 2.0.

my wife wrote a letter to the editor in the local rag about why she's marching. it's basically about how she thought we progressed in regards to racism, equal rights, etc but we didn't. These are the two comments on it:

You should be glad your ancestors were bought and brought here.Go live in Africa were 8out of ten people have aids.Your slave ancestors wouldn't think much of you.Go March and get some exercise.

Oh you have it so bad here. Yes, let's legislate respect for you. That makes sense doesn't it? You mean you can't stand on your own without the government backing you up. Pretty weak I think. You are a hypocrite like so many others that didn't see your sick candidates of either Hillary or Bernie win so now you are whining because you lost. Poor baby!
