Grumpy old Man Thread.

Hall and Oates is coming to town Monday.... I'm not their biggest fan but for the right price I'll pretty much see anybody. 70 dollars is not the right price. Even with tears for fears opening up.

How the hell can they come anywhere close to selling 15k or even 10k?

On Bucky's recommendation, sick of worrying if I'll be hungover after beer #3. Wha....what happened? Feels like I chose the wrong chalice.

Self realization. I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "... I drank what?"

What's the deal with the pronounciaton of that little country Qatar? News people have been calling it "Cutter" for years now. But the plural and possessive are pronounced something like "Catari."

I tried to google the correct pronounciaton. It seems it doesn't matter. You can pronounce it any way you want. What the hell is going on? I'm going to stick with "Catar."

Mr. RON PALILLO (Actor): (as Arnold Horshack) It's hot in there, Mr. Kotter.

PESCA: Even experts with more field experience than Horshack can't agree. Merriam-Webster online says...

I was sitting here with thoughts of days gone by and I have a question for some of you old timers here who served. What C Ration did you despise the most? Mine was the scrambled eggs out of the can. It was like eating urethane foam.

Yeah. The eggs were gross. So was the spaghetti stuff. We ate our Cs cold most of the time unless we could score some heat tabs.

Beef and shrapnel needed heat for sure.

Oregano and Garlic salt helped. And of course, tobasco sauce was real good.

They should be called land rations."

(I too once thought they were sea rations)
