i just went home at lunch and there was something going on at downtown crossing. police were making everyone cross to the other side of the street, away from the entrance to the downtown crossing t stop.

lots of national guard/army reserve people in uniform at every t stop i was at today

The third person killed in the Boston Marathon bombings was a Chinese national who was attending Boston University, according to Chinese government and school officials.

The woman’s family has asked that her name not be disclosed, the Chinese consulate said. She was a graduate student at Boston University, the school’s president said in an open letter posted on Tuesday. Another BU student was injured, and was in stable condition at Boston Medical Center, the president wrote.

Obama letter tested positive for ricin. Both letters (Sen Wicker and Prez Obama) were both postmarked April 8 out of Memphis, so likely not connected to the Boston bombings. Both letters say "To see a wrong and not expose it, is to become a silent partner to its continuance." and are signed "I am KC and I approve this message."
