I can say without fear of contradiction that,had I been the unfortunate soul to find this in my home, that would be it for me. I wouldn't be able to handle it. I'd have to be carted off to live out my days in a rubber room, or leave the planet, or something.

Little bit different, as the body has been sanitized and I'm not expected to touch it, but frankly viewings are the worst irrespective of my phobia of dead mammals.

Killed this guy in my basement yesterday. Those two white dots on the left are his eyes, they are reflecting the flash when I used taking the picture.

I've killed a few huge spiders so far in the basement, and it's not big deal, but after killing the latest I started to think about it and those spiders must be eating pretty well to get that big....
Also, the stink bugs are showing up. We have a cathedral ceiling in the living room and there were like five stink bugs flying around above my reach flying into things with their signature dumb thuds. Fun times.
I was telling my parents about the stink bugs over the weekend and they told me at their old house in NW Hunterdon county at one point an entire outside wall of their house was covered with stink bugs every afternoon. Another time a couple dozen started coming down the chimney so they made a fire in the fireplace and it sounded like pop corn as all the stink bugs burned up.
