World Series Game 6 Thread: We need a miracle

Postby Monkeyboy » Wed Nov 04, 2009 22:10:06

Didn't get that pitch high enough.

Of course, the misplay in CF, the walk, and the HBP didn't help much either. Totally self destructed that half-inning.

Pedro should have been taken out after Matsui laced that 0-1 pitch down the line just foul. He's crushed Pedro in every single AB.

Charlie, thanks for being loyal to Pedro and Lidge, it only cost you another WFC

Matsui has crushed every Phillies pitcher in almost every single AB

we can throw three starters in game 2 against the rockies but leave pedro in to pitch to a guy that's ramming all of tokyo up his ass every pitch in game 6 of the world series down 3-2?!?!?!?!?

All that may be true. But it was still a great piece of hitting.

We may lose a World Series that we statistically should've won

There was no way Pedro was throwing a curve to Matsui.

Better produce some kind of answer pretty quick. That 3-run lead's gonna start to look bigger and bigger.
