His hand was fine on that swing. He just played it up on the popup to get some sympathy on a terrible swing

I agree, take Lee out now. I don't think there is anything the Phillies can do that would cause them to lose this game. Literally.

I love you and all, but you really are nuts

It's not necessarily from a good place that I feel this way, sadly, but I've known since around 3 o'clock this afternoon that the Phillies were going to win this game. The Yankees players are now halfway back to New York and planning their post-WFC photo-ops and endorsement deals, etc. Hopefully the Phillies can make this lack of concentration cost them for two more games. I believe in Pedro anyway.

maybe you didn't hear me

I saw it. Like I said, no causality issues.

shane is one of my fav phils but i gotta hope they aren't trying to pull any hero shit. Getting through the game but playing poorly doesn't help the team. Was wondering the same about Ibanez although he had a nice rip tonight.

right.

what the $#@! does that mean

It means what I say or don't say won't affect the outcome, and I'm not at all worried about tempting Baseba'al or anyone else to strike horrible revenge against the Phillies in this game.

If it makes you feel better, I am more than happy to accept full blame if the Phillies lose this game. Read: BAN me if they lose this game. But they won't, so it won't come up.
