World Series 2009 Game 4 Thread: TONIGHT IS OUR NIGHT

Postby ReadingPhilly » Sun Nov 01, 2009 21:49:45

the lefties need to hang over the plate. he's not coming inside to them and they might have a shot at hitting a fucking breaking pitch.

we need to start getting that big hit against this guy - it's nice to get 1 back but we need that big hit.

Blackberry Storm 2: It only sucks half as much as the first one!
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

gotta start sitting on the breaking stuff at some point, right?

And, Joe, it's 7-8-9. Please make this easy. And DON'T effing give up a hit to Sabathia.

I'm mortally certain that's you.

I can recall at least 4 or 5 at bats in the post season he went to 0-2 and then got out some way or another. you can take your frustrations out on me though if you'd like. I'm used to it now.

nothing to do of it now, but we need more than semi-success in innings like that one.

After 1:
Blanton 11 pitches, 7 strikes, 2 ER
Sabathia: 24 pitches, 14 strikes, 1 ER
