World Series 2009 Game 4 Thread: TONIGHT IS OUR NIGHT

Postby hoya » Sun Nov 01, 2009 21:28:17

Whatever. We knew there'd be games that we needed 8+ runs to win. Tonight is as good as any.

You took steroids chants!
“I don’t coach losers, I only coach winners.” Mike Krzyzewski

Tom Brady bereft on the turf, it has literally been ripped from his grasp

My own damn opinion: If ARod doesn't stand there like a little bitch, there's no warnings.

When Chase leans into one in the 1st, we win.

I'll take the Phillies by KO in the first round, if it comes to that.

utley's gotta be thinking "go ahead, retaliate me"
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

You know ARod is secretly glad he got hit so he doesn't have a chance to choke again

Do not let Blanton's career numbers vs. the Yanks scare you. Matchups don't matter:

Tex 1.061
A-Rod 2.298
Jeter .968
Matsui .821
Posada 1.100

Overall against current Yanks: .521 SLG, .838 OPS, 8 HR in 117 AB.

With Posada "protecting" ARod, putting Arod on is the only rational approach. Hitting him instead of walking him is just more fun.

Do the umps have leeway to not throw somebody out if they hit someone, or is it automatic?
