Agreed on both counts. I never had a problem with Wolf, don't see why people wouldn't like him.
The only thing I can recall is people have said that Wolf didn't want to see Schilling back on the team when it was a possibility (when he ended up going to the BoSox) but given that Schill is pretty much a loudmouth jerk and a poor teammate, I don't blame Wolf for that thought.
I liked him too. Good pitcher for us, just hurt a little too much

Heck, they even had Lee swing rather than bunt -- he just ironically got a hit.

Yeah, this is a feature not a bug.
I always really liked Wolf, though some of the shine came off after he dissed the Phils before both the '07 and '08 seasons.
