Oh my yes. I got up at 2 in the morning or whenever it was the games started (Italy time). Those games were fabulous. Armed Forces Radio was never better.

I agree with every word of this. I thought Wheels was almost tasteless, and usually I think he's alright enough (as someone said, 1,000,000 times better than by-the-numbers generic Tom McCarthy). But I'll take the word of people who say this is just how he deals with these things.
