I was going to, but didn't want to ruin the jovial mood around here.

Pretty awesome but it's hard for me to spooge all over the place after spending the past week thinking we'd have Lee and Roy and Cole next year

If you told me that was the deal last July, I would've taken it in a heartbeat.

Well said, if it's just Taylor and we get him for 3 year extension, smart deal IMO

Yeah, 2010-2013. I can't add.

Heyman is on NYC radio and still has no more specifics. Doesn't even have it confirmed that Lee is going to Seattle, and no word on prospects

Boy, I really hate the idea of losing Taylor - I think he will be a right handed John Olerud type hitter based on the reports and stats.

Halladay for Lee is fine and even with Taylor it is a good deal all things considered, but it really kills to have to give up Taylor just because the Phils need a few million $$ back in the deal.

Gotta hold off reacting until we hear details... but if nothing else, JFL's point about Amaro showing truly outstanding creativity and persistence seems to stand up.

Uh oh, this thread is going to go down as the worst juju ever if Heyman is high and this all falls through.

Part of me is waiting to hear that Halladay's actually in Florida, his agent is working on a deal for some other minor free agent, and this whole thing has been a War of the Worlds level hoax with the only actual consequence of totally fucking up my work day.

Yeah. Right now I'm sitll in wait-and-see mode. I want to know who else other than Lee they are giving up. If nobody, it's just a smidge disappointing because I had visions of both those guys in our rotation. If Lee + prospects, well... that's a horse of a different color.
