www.retrosheet.org

What with the addition of historical boxscores and PBP on BBRef, Retrosheet has become nearly irrelevant, no?

Retrosheet's the only place to get the raw data, though, I believe. I sure hope they continue.

Baseball Reference & Retrosheet

Postby Official Scorer » Fri Dec 29, 2006 19:25:50

Baseball Reference gets its data from Retrosheet. And as a scorer, Retrosheet provides the data to score past games. It is quite valuable to me.

Another site I like a lot is BaseballTruth. Unfortunately, Will has suspended new articles. There is a discussion board that is still active.

Another site I like is The Business of Baseball. I checked and it hasn't been posted yet. :)

Also, The Sports Economist and Sports Law Blog

www.rototimes.com (player news, tries to be like rotoworld but not quite updated as well)
http://news.google.com/ (searching "MLB" and "Phillies" keeps you updated on recent baseball articles)

and the mainstream sports websites:
www.espn.com
www.cbs.sportsline.com
www.nbcsports.com
www.foxsports.com
www.si.com
Why not just go storm Normandy and get shot in the face while you're at it
Why not get a plumbing license and run around high on shrooms stealing peoples' pocket change

If this site shares bittorrents, or has a bittorrent tracker, the link should be removed (even though I know you are promoting the forums).

At least they stick to their guns.

Meyer has a lot to prove yet. There are a lot of people who deserve credit for the title. Meyer is one of them but there are others.
