The Flyers have basically made every correct decision since they brought Fletcher in.
The Sixers have basically made every wrong decision the since they got rid of Hinkie.

Horford laying a turd after the primal scream is kind of funny. True Philadelphia athlete now.

The fact is the Celts over the last several years have been better at identifying, drafting and developing talent than the Sixers.

Yep. They are the better organization with the better GM and the better coach.

Can we get SGA and a pick for Simmons? No? Didn’t think so.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

The Sixers have made good post-Hinkie moves. Off the top of my head:

Not sure if you want to give post-Hinkie any credit for the Simmons pick since he was the consensus #1, but I give collars partial credit for pulling that trigger.

TLC and Kork may not be Spicy P, but they were good picks where they were drafted.

The Redick signing was excellent.

Belinelli and Ilyasova as buyout guys instead of giving anything up for them was smart.

Covington contract was great.

The Zhaire-Bridges trade was a very good process decision that hasn’t had good results partially because Smith had a freak allergy problem and because the other pick we got was sent out in an overlay trade.

Shamet pick was good (partial credit since they dumped him that season).

Shake pick was good.

Matisse (trade up and) pick was good.

Bringing in D’Antoni as Assistant Head Coach was good and we probably would’ve had more success if he outlasted Brown.

We’ve had *big* misses, but it hasn’t been all bad from a personnel standpoint and Hinkie had big misses too.

Sixers have actually done a pretty good job the last two years post-Colangelo. Shamet Shake and Thybulle versus Robert Williams, Grant Williams and Romeo Langford. Celtics' bench is pretty weak as a result.

Sure wish we could have gotten some Jaylen Browns and Marcus Smarts along with Ben and Jo during the high lottery picks though.

I mean I hate the Celtics more than is probably reasonable for a full grown adult.

The Zhaire trade is a negative for me. Passed on Bridges and SGA. Pissed the pick away to give Tobias 180 million. Don’t know if Zhaire is even a thing.

tbh Brett and Brand are not good but if Simmons is healthy we're probably celebrating a win. We're one defender short against these guys when JRich has to slide off Kemba

Rumor was that Ainge tried to trade 4 firsts and two more picks to trade up for Justise Winslow in 2015. They had 2 picks themselves in that first round that weren't good, so it may have only been two worthwhile firsts, but if we could've gotten just two premium picks from them, we could've dodged the Okafor issue and taken some of their future talent.

There was another rumor that Ainge wanted to trade their 2016 first that became Jaylen Brown for Okafor, but our ownership wouldn't sign off on it for Hinkie during Jah's rookie year so soon after we traded MCW for picks.

He also traded up to draft Kelly Olynyk over Giannis.

He's a good GM, but he isn't a wizard.

Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don’t make (see Tobias Harris trade)

I guess if you look at it holistically, it's not positive, but taken as a standalone move it wasn't negative. Bridges is a nice player, but he's not that special. We got a second (unprotected) pick and a raw player whose development ended up getting totally screwed by a freak incident.

That was a Hinkie type move that didn't work out because the pick was part of an overpay and because of sesame.

Gonna push back on this. Bridges was the greatest three point shooter in CBB history. SGA obv does everything we need. They thought it was the double draft year so I get all the points for my but coming off a 50 win season, I would have liked a non project player and that’s what Zhaire always was. Great athlete with potential. Bridges was a sure thing rotational player and SGA would have almost immediately mitigated the Fultz disaster.

They took a risk between Zhaire and the pick, didn't work out (as Gimpy said who knows what role sesame seeds played). Either way my point wasn't that they've batted 1.000 just that if you compare them and Boston under the current regime it's pretty favorable draft-wise. They got Shamet and Shake in the same draft.
