Yea the defenseman were horrible in the 2nd period. A lot of turnovers. They cleaned it up in the 3rd though.

Absolutely. How many times did we see Sanheim jump up and that led to a 2 on 1? I like being aggressive but there’s a fine line, and it’s rough for guys in their first playoff game.

The team definitely looked jittery tonight.

Probably worth noting that this is the second round of playoff hockey for the Habs. The RR wasn’t the playoffs no matter how you slice it.

You definitely saw that the other 3 RR teams were not exactly giving it their all before the real playoffs started.

Watched the first 2 periods with my 4yo. He was so psyched when they scored. Fun to have playoff hockey back after all these years.

(He was asleep midway thru the 2nd - and will surely be awake at 5am)

In the mlb parks aren’t they just putting computer graphic overlays over the empty sections? Seems like an easy fix for hockey to do the same.

They were talking about swapping the boards, have they been doing that?

I noticed in the rr they were. Didn’t take notice last night.
