Phillies Authentics sent out an email that said they would be selling as many game-used balls as possible. I imagine other teams will be doing this as well.

Looks like the Jays home games will be in Pittsburgh. MLB is working on the 7 days where there would be conflicts between the Jays and Pirates

Can't wait for Kapler to realize there's no need for the catcher when there are zero or one strikes and nobody on base. And once robo umps are here, he won't even need to use a catcher for ethical reasons.

Matt Olson dealt with that during Monday’s exhibition and dealt with it again on Tuesday, where there wasn’t an infielder to be found left of second base. The Giants were daring Olson to go the opposite way.

You don’t have to dare him twice. Olson laid down a bunt and legged out a single in his first at-bat, something he has done several times in the past to keep defenses honest.

Sometimes, however, it can backfire. It did in the top of the 2nd inning, as Olson [and Khris Davis] came around to score on a Chad Pinder triple.
