So are we getting an actual schedule tonight with times? Need to work this into my incredibly busy schedule. Nats Twitter has a full schedule with dates and times.

Only 1 visit by Miami and Washington

You’d think they would give the teams with only 1 home series the 4 game series but that’s not the always the case

They get the Braves 7 times at home and 3 down there
They get the Fish 7 times in Miami and only 3 times home

Love the normal start times despite no fans (7:10 in Florida, 6:37 in Toronto, 7:05 at CBP). Gotta honor those local TV deals to the letter I guess.

FiveThirtyEight had an article where they claim Utley/Rollins is the 5th best 2B/SS defensive pair of all-time and the best since 1991

#15 on the list is Tom Herr and Ozzie Smith despite the fact that Herr had a negative FRAA (the fielding stat they came up with for the list).

Thomson, Gott and Brodzinski all tested positive for COVID

Neris and Haseley are back in camp, the latter was out because his test results were never returned to the Phils. Clusterfuck

Kingery and Hunter are feeling better but have to pass back-to-back tests before they can return

Liriano might opt out of the season

3 preseason games scheduled: SAT 7/18 @ Washington, SUN 7/19 vs Baltimore, MON 7/20 @ NY Yankees

yeah, that caught my eye too, and you're exactly right- the odd times have nothing to do with fans. It's broadcast scheduling and getting the proper advertisements in prior to first pitch. In fact it's probably more important now, since they have a somewhat captive tv/radio audience.

Also, most fans are still working 9-5 jobs. I have no issues with the 7ish start times. Seems reasonable.

No Phillie wants to let Bryce down by opting out... actually guys like Markakis may opt out of Atlanta and opt in to the Phils to just play near Bryce
