I barely remember Your Aunt's Living Room™. I wasn't active there as long as most of you so maybe that's why. Maybe because I effed around a lot more then, maybe because my years there were during one of my drinking binges.
I remember folks from my PhilaPhans days much more and truly miss some of them. Probably as many or more there I considered real life pals as here.
I think I migrated boards along a similar timeline and path as you. I still remember actually engaging and trying to debate Goodbye_Scottie on some early board. Is that season points fantasy league still going? Can't believe that started 20 years ago.
The points league died this past year, actually. We were down to 9 teams, commish and co-commish quit because of crap one of the newer guys was giving them, we were down to 6 active players, and 3 of them were a father and 2 sons. They made me commish when they bailed, and I didn't bother to renew.
It was a good run
I had thought about returning when I signed back up three years ago but never got around to it. Don't have another account as I just read news anymore on the boards. I do find humor in that my character of stellarpulse trolled some folks hard enough that they believe I was involved in something I wasn't all these years later. Many posters here I miss and still enjoy reading their messages!
