Flyers have a two on one, pens guy jumps off the bench and tackles the guy without the puck to negate it. those were some different times.

love that it was kasparitis he disrobed to win it. remember reading tugnutt lost something insane like 25 lbs from the start to finish in this game.

i had a distinct error in my memories as to when this game was played, so I looked it up and found the NHL.com retrospective on it.

they talk to different players about different plays. for the flyers goal that tied it, One quote:

Tugnutt: I don't remember the goal at all.

I scrolled down to the game winning goal, hoping that Tugnutt said the same exact thing, I was ready to put him on my personal wall of fame. but unfortunately he did not.

I remember I had to be at work at 7am and the game ended after 2:30am but there was no way I was missing the end of it

I was in Disney World. I fell asleep during one of the OT's. Woke up and thought it was a replay. Nope. About a minute later the game was over.

I worked at a supermarket and worked until like 10, so I taped the game on my vcr. Got home watched it and the recording cut off in maybe the second overtime and was pissed I missed the end, so I went to ESPN or whatever it was on to see if I could catch highlights and fine out who won and it was still going.

Was in London for work. Turned on the TV when I got up expecting to see replays, realized they were still playing.

Watching that live, I was about to vomit several times, especially that first part where Esche was all over the place

10 years ago today was the 0-3 comeback game 7

I was on a flight from Tampa during this game, and they were down when I got on the plane and I was thinking ah man that is probably it and I think when I got back to philly they had come back and won. It was insane
