I still remember where I was the day the Flyers turned Richards into Wayne Simmonds/Braydon Schenn and Jeff Carter into Sean Couturier/Jakub Voracek. I mean of those trades look like wins to me but LA won the Cup and we didn't.

Phyllis Snider Foreman, sister of former Flyers owner, Ed Snider passed away from cancer at the age of 92. She picked the name, "Flyers" for the club when it was created.
