He likes vets so doesn’t seem like the best fit, but that’s not shocking at all

His career started out really well in Vancouver, then was good at beginning with Rangers, but wheels fell off at the end.

Friend of a friend is a die-hard Rangers fan (and coaches youth hockey himself) and said Vigneault was his favorite coach in NY. Hates the Flyers, pretty pissed he ended up with us. Said he really seems to open up the offense, which O'Connor confirmed on the Athletic today.
