Preseason doesn’t matter. It’s just guys trying to get their legs under them; coaches checking out possible line combos and defensive pairs; checking the progress of the young players and those coming off of injuries . The lack of season game competition is obvious. No reason to worry now. If it was 20 games into the season, that would be a different thing.
Fletcher has already stated that the roster is in a state of flux right now. Look for some player movement for a while. Some guys won’t fit AV’s style of play.
