Anyone watch the Behind the Glass thing on NHL Network last night? I enjoyed it. The behind the scenes stuff, for some reason, gives me some sense of optimism heading into the season. AV seems like a dude who enjoys doing what he does and the players seem to respect him. Roster doesn't seem like it's totally there yet, but I could really see them having a shot to make a major move at the deadline to bolster the squad.

Nolan Patrick has been diagnosed with a migraine disorder. He will not be ready for the start of the regular season and he is listed as "week-to-week."

I have a medical diagnosis wrt migraines. They really suck. Depending on where it is, I’ve had some where I can’t see out of an eye. I can’t have any light on or it amplifies the pain. Now, I’ve never had one that lasted more than 36 hours so for it to be week to week must be bad

Even when the Flyers catch a break, they can't catch a break. Sucks for Nolan. Both my kids suffer from migraines so I know how shitty they are. Hope Nolan gets the medical attention he needs and does not try to rush back.
