ReaLKen saying our lineup isn't perfect on Missanelli, points to Franco+Odubel. I mean they're only flawed if you expect your #7 and #8 hitter to be the equivalent of a #2 or #3 hitter.

exactly... more concerned with odubel in the field than at the plate. i have no problem with franco just being franco that far down in the order.

What lineup in baseball is perfect? Ours is still top 3 in the NL and has potential to be the best if some things go right.

The 2008 World Series lineup wasn't even perfect. Pedro Feliz was pretty average at best and at that point Chooch hadn't developed into a good consistent bat yet.

Yea, what was worse was he was talking tiny sample sizes and taking BA and homers hit then when he got hit with the slugging retort, said it was only career... That's the fucking point, he's slugged big in our park career-wise which includes good seasons and bad.

ike and marks went in a bit on Bryce personally yesterday, i had never followed him all that close. apparently a country music fan so he can go to concerts with jimmy butler together and whatnot. apparently got his GED with a 4.0 gpa after like 10th grade or some crazy like that.
