I got the news about Bryce Harper signing and told her with glee that Harper signed with the Phillies

She said back “Who is dis Brace Harping and congratulations to you”

well this is pretty fucking great news to wake up to.

I was feeling weirdly confident last night, but I was ready to run someone out of town on a rail if we didn't get him after passing on machado.

This also might free up an OFer to pair with a pitcher or two for a pitching upgrade. We might not be done. I guess it doesn't help that Herrera and Quinn both have injuries that tend to nag.
