Still a skeptic that Mize won't go one but multiple sources saying it is more likely now than it was any time up to now that top 3 could go 1. Bart. 2. Winn. 3. Mize. Again still only a small chance but that chance has risen.

Law just mocked that exact top 3 this morning

Callis and Mayo both have us with Madrigal.

I do not like that pick. Between a log jam at second, and that he is the best 'pure hitter' at a listed 5'7" makes me skeptical. I guess I should be excited that he bats fromthe right side of the plate.

I'd prefer Bohm or obviously Mize but Madrigal is a heck of a player. He's hitting over .400 playing in a top conference, that's insane. He's also played a lot of SS and will most likely start there in pro ball.

True. I want to get excited about Mize but I still think its Detroit negotiating through the press. Am disappointed that the market seems to think we're preferring Madrigal over Bohm. On the other hand. If we take Madrigal, people have Bohm falling to 6 or 9 while Madrigal usually goes at 4 if we take Bohm

I don't follow the MLB Draft enough to have a feel of precedent (I just read your taeks in these threads each yet), but how tight lipped does the #1 pick stay? Like will we know this afternoon if Detroit locks into Mize at #1?

Yep, I remember last year no one thought Royce Lewis had a chance to go #1 until Monday. By around 6pm it was a general consensus.

I'm hoping for Bohm. I'd prefer not to take a pitcher in the 1st and Madrigal seems more toolsy.

But I really have no clue.

Prefer Mize than Bart, feel like Bart is safer than Bohm.

Bohms are never safe, even when you're an expert.

My final top 5 preferences:

1) Mize
2) Mize
3) Mize
4) Mize
5) Mize

Damn you MLBdraftTwitter for getting my hopes up. Real top 5 is Mize, Bohm, Bart, Liberatore, Madrigal.

Bohm consensus everywhere, MLB, Law and BA. Happy with this and would be ecstatic if he’s underslot as well.
