It's really hard to beat Pitt in Pitt. They're going to be able to out physical their opponent since they get the calls. Under these circumstances, it would be a hard game for Lyon. Unfortunately some guys, looking at you Jake, played very poorly in front of him.

-- 1st wildcard, tied with Columbus for 3rd in division (CBJ has more wins), 3 behind Pittsburgh, 3 ahead of New Jersey, 6 ahead of Florida (but FLA has 3 games in hand)
-- The 1st-rd pick from St. Louis is now worse than the Flyers one. They're tied with LA for 2nd wildcard and hold the tiebreaker, and they have the same points and more wins than the Flyers
-- The Phantoms clinched a playoff spot in the Calder Cup playoffs and have an 8-point lead on Providence for the division title

Tonight's game isn't a must, must win, but it's close. The Avs are tough, and Boston on Easter Sunday before finishing up with three winnable matchups (Islanders, Hurricanes, Rangers).

Would prefer to stay in the first WC, don't know if that means they should win or lose tonight. I guess win tonight even though they may jump back into 3rd since Florida is only 4 back with 2 in hand.

Yup. I think we win tonight, drop the next two, and then see where we are at going into the easier last three. Columbus lost Foligno for the rest of the regular season too, so who knows how that will affect the race.
