I don't think we're scoring in double digits absent a defensive TD. They are gonna play man to try to deal with RPOz. Unless we run effectively in early downs, they will shut us down in the pass game. This defense gave up 51 total 3rd down conversions all year (25%)

Thinking 2011 bama/LSU type game unless one of the QBs immolates everything w TOs

I know Cam is a running threat, but they did give up 103 and 3 TD's to Jonathan Stewart just a month ago. Lions got 23 on them, Skins 30.

They are a really good defense but not some unstoppable force. I think 20 is possible.

They've given up 19 ppg on the road and that includes the shutout they had in GB with no Rodgers. They just gave up 24 points at home, all in the second half. We aren't the Saints offense but they also aren't the same team on the road.

Agree. Thinking this one might be 10-7.

There is also no reason to think Doug isn't prepared for what Minny does. They probably have been prepping behind the scenes for a while some plays that should pop since it was pretty clear they were going to be #1 and #2 in the NFC.

I trust dug to call a good game but they have a lot of really good players on that side. Jimmies and Joe's, not Xs and Os, the whole bit. Also couldn't u make the exact same argument re zimmer/shurmur being prepared for us

The Eagles had things wrapped up a little earlier than the Vikings did. Vikings had a meaningful week 17 game, Eagles game plan was basically get nobody injured and vanilla offense week 17. I am sure the Vikings have things they will do but Schwartz has been really good at adjusting.

I feel like the Eagles have been holding back plays ever since the Giants game (Maybe even all season) as you saw more passes to Ajayi and RB's than you have seen all year against the Falcons.

At this point you have two very good teams, but I still think you are looking closer at a 20-17 type game and not single digits for either team.

I truly have no instinctual feel for this game.

Everything people say - seems obvious. I don't see the Eagles "establishing the run" - they will have to establish the pass, some trickery, short field, mis-direction - and go deep w Torrey. Minn is a real D. Not 85 bears or Ravens SB D, but they are for real. Cover TEs well, excellent 3rd down, stingy on tds. That said, they do it all much better at home in the dome than on road. Eagles have lost 2 home games since Doug came to town. But most of those had Carson at the wheel...

It's really hard to predict. We know that if the Birds get a pick 6, or force a fumble and run it in - or block a FG, those are the kind of things that can make the diff. But you can't know that will happen, just hope it might.

Keenum doesn't suck, but he's not Brees or Brady or Rogers.

I feel like if the Birds score 24 or more they win. If it's truly a close game, then anything can happen and Jake Elliot an Donnie Jones may figure in to this thing prominently.

I don't know if Zimmer blitzes a lot, but if they plan man and jam the lines, we are not going to bust through and Ajayi is good, but he's not Todd Gurley or Zeke good.

What's weird, is that I could see us beating NE even w Foles and this motley group...
