I still would not have done it. I bring Hoskins up and play him at first on day one. He's one of your top prospects right now, why even take him out of his comfort zone and put him in left unnecessarily?

Just because it's temporary, it doesn't mean it was a decision that should have been made. And Altherr isn't coming back until some time in September it appears.

Must be something going on, or maybe the alumni weekend is what's goin' on. I can attest first hand he enjoys the company of his fellow ballplayers. If it were just cutting back, this would not be the weekend he would choose for that.

yeah maybe he is there just hanging out. he's missed quite a few series this season already.
