Big debate here in Vegas about paying the casinos to park to attend the games (No flat lot free parking)

Some of the premium seats come with reserved parking, but I think in most cases for regular seats you pay a separate fee for the season.

read today that hischier is ahl-eligible. so if he's the pick i'd say he's unlikely to make the flyers.

here's a projection:
konecny-giroux-voracek
weal-filppula-simmonds
schenn-couturier-lindblom
bellemare-vecchione-weise

provorov-macdonald
gostisbehere-gudas
morin-manning

read and raffl gona via expansion draft/trade.
would like to see two rookie d-men but don't see it happening.

Where's VandeVelde? I will believe he's not on the team when I actually see him in another uniform

I think I'm leaning towards the Swiss because you can't trust a man with two first names.

Edit: Earlier reports misattributed Hischier as a Swede because slugsrbad sucks and confuses those two often.

I still cringe seeing MacDonald on a top pairing in these roster mocks.

Wish Hextall would use some of these extra picks in this crappy draft to package with AMac to a salary floor team. But Hakstol actually likes him and thinks he's a top-4 dman.

He's actually not AHL eligible per Bill Meltzer, which sucks.

Who the heck is going to be the goalie next year? Neuvirth can't stay healthy and might get taken by Vegas. Stolarz is going to miss most of the offseason recovering from a torn up knee. None of the kids are close to ready. Ben Bishop is a free agent but that's a pipe dream.

Think they may have a handshake agreement with Mason tbh, especially if Neuvrith is taken by Vegas.

Prob neuvirth. I don't think they'll protect stolarz (have heard the team is not that high on him) and I don't think LV will take him.

Meltzer. "In Hischier's case, however, Mooseheads reporter Scott MacIntosh wrote on Twitter that Hischier was NOT a loan arrangement but rather a full transfer to Halifax. As such, the player would be subject to the AHL's age restrictions requiring CHL-affiliated players under the age of 20 to be returned to their junior team if they do not play in the NHL."

If they're going with short term until one of the prospects are ready (or someone to eventually replace Neuvirth as the backup), I wouldn't mind Nilsson, Kinkaid, or Darling (though Carolina just traded for his rights so he probably won't make it to free agency)

Doesn't he have a better chance to make the team if he isn't AHL eligible?

I doubt it with Hextall. AHL would have been perfect. Another year in the Q isn't going to help an offensive prospect much. Hopefully, either Nico or Nolan is impressive in camp and we don't have to worry about it.

So how excited should I get over getting either Nolan or nico or I guess most likely nico? What's his upside? From what I could find, I don't think either is considered elite.

I'd say 45% chance Nico, 45% Nolan, 5% Gabe Vilardi (#3 consensus player and the analytics people love him) and 5% field or trade.

Considering they should be picking 13th, I'll take either one and be happy about it. Nolan compares to Toews, while Nico compares to Datsyuk or Bure
