Well, yeah. That's the year they won it it. Anyone could have done that.

The Falcons and the Packers will play for the NFC Championship in 2017. Woooo! Spooky!

You joker you.

They did a jump forward in time deal for the final season and in it (airing in 2014, referencing 2017) they made mention of the Cubs being reigning champs - spooky :P.

God strike me dead but I kinda agree. Jeff Bagwell may not have been caught, but... come on, the dude was roided up.

Probably why we shouldnt keep people out due to suspicions of roids. It's a guessing game that is unfair on some level.

The writer who inserted that little reference is a baseball fan and recently was, and I'm paraphrasing, like, "Well, yeah. Everyone knew they were gonna be great. It was like picking the GSW to win it all."

Still cool and all, but yeah

Pedro thinks Yordano could've been saved after the crash but people were more interested in robbing him instead

I thought the game just goes to the highest bidder now. So, in essence, if the Yankees were so inclined, for example, it could just be played at Yankee Stadium every year.

Also, when the Phillies had it in 1996 it had been only 20 years since they'd last had it, and that was not just a highest bidder system.

Probably, but they had said that they wanted to showcase all of the new ballparks which is why they did 4 NL teams in a row and 5 of 6.

I think the only new stadiums that haven't hosted the game are new Yankee Stadium (old Yankee Stadium hosted in 2008), the new Braves Park (Turner Field hosted in 1999), and CBP with Marlins Parks and National Park are hosting over the next two years.
