God forbid they had moved the game up to start around 7 or even 8. God, wouldn't want to upset Rupert Murdoch. Thanks Rupert!!!

The rain absolutely did not get any more severe in the 6th inning than it was after the top of the 5th. This is as embarrassingly concocted a conspiracy to extend the series as has ever been seen. This time the crooks aren't the ones on the field, it's the criminals put in charge of the game.

No. they are not going to play. Now that the Rays have tied it, everyone can go home safely to their beds. Even though conditions were too bad to play an inning ago.

I don't tend to buy into the persecution theories, but this is totally $#@! up.

This is exactly what MLB was hoping for. It takes them right off the hook.

If the game is postponed until Wednesday, then Cole could pitch game 7 (if necessary) which would be played at the earliest on Saturday, right?

Agree. I don't see this as "oh everybody has it in for Philadelphia"--just a difficult situation with no good options, that unfortunately worked out terribly (at least for now) for the Phils.

We still have 4 innings to win this one, they have only 3. Something seems unfair about it all, but what can we do now? I doubt they will play again tonight and that's a shame... a mess

So, it will be 3-3, with game 7 to be resumed in the 6th inning back in Philly.

Well done Major League Baseball, well fucking done.

And remember: If they don't resume until Wednesday, we have to wait until after Obama's commercial.

Save your rationality for a more appropriate time.

Sorry. You're absolutely right.

Fuck MLB, fuck the Rays, fuck Joe Buck. They should all get chronic ass rash.
