Ed's Neil Hartman report actually came from Joe Maddon, who told the media the game would start at 9:30

I think we're heading towards a Chris Wheeler-Certified Goofy Game.

Heard this as well from multiple outlets. Probably 10:00-10:15. It's gonna be a looooong night at the park.

That's why they're hoping to start it on Sunday.

are they really going to start a ws game after 10? hopefully someone'll use their brain in the next hour or so to make sure this doesn't happen.

The "someone" of whom you speak is MLB, so I wouldn't go holding your breath.

I'm pretty sure there's an MLB rule a game can't start past 11, right? I'm scouring the rulebook on the MLB site but can't find much.

So, Moyer starts tomorrow, then Hamels on Monday, right? If Moyer gets torched, then Blanton starts game 7, if necessary

I'm torn. On one hand, postponing tonight's game would move the other games around and probably force more people to sell their tickets, which might benefit me. On the other hand, I'm scheduled to work Tuesday night and it will be hard to find someone to work that shift for me.

blanton would be the game 6 starter.

happ would get the start on the 5th day with, presumably, everyone but blanton on call to relieve.
if you don't know what the wrestlers are trying to do--how certain moves and holds are supposed to work and so forth, then it might just look like too sweaty guys rolling around on a mat.

Oh. I'm replying to a Steagles post. Um. OK.
