there were a few plays like this where the eagles tackling (traditionally a weakness) was really strong besides a few long alfred morris runs.

in particular, not sure dez broke anything, especially/even on some of those one on one wr screens.

i pointed out when the play happened that collinsworth was talking about how dez 'wears defenders down' by putting his arm out there for stiff arms. that was on the play where he put his arm out and the eagles guy (i think darby?) just grabbed the arm dez outstretch and tackled him by it..

Usually unless it is the head official that makes the overturn.

I remember that- I think three or four guys ran in and had a brief say with the referee, and he nodded his head and then turned on his mic and made the call. But I guess he misheard/didn't hear the line judge or head linesman who had the neutral zone first, when the other line guy had yelled for the false start. Then line guy #1 probably started yelling to him that he had the neutral zone (which, logically speaking, sort of 'overrules' the false start).

Didn’t the same thing happen in the Carolina game but it wound up going against the eagles?

It was Mills I believe. That was a great play. They barely showed a replay but you can clearly see Mills grab his arm and take him down.
