I really can't figure out why this staff/organization has (seemingly) been down on Wiz since he got here. I'm somewhat biased, but even his track record coming in should say something of his skill level.

1. Agree on Wiz
2. Also think that the grace period on Torrey Smith ought to be really short. More Mack Hollins and even Shelton Gibson.
3. The other great thing is that they seemed to get through yesterday's game without an injury which is getting rarer and rarer in the NFL

That wentz pass to ertz was a thing of beauty.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

Here are my thoughts on blount:

-He played very effectively

-He needs large holes to play that way, and I think if you subbed either of the other backs in for him on his chunk plays, they could make any/all of those runs

-Credit to dug and duce for utilizing him well after he was buried in Kc

Hard disagree on the second point. He moved well in the hole, even when they weren't large, and has Marshawn like ability to run thru guys

Ok let me revise that...hes the best of the backs at breaking DB arm tackles with a head of steam. All backs do pretty good when they can get upfield w some speed though (not all can fend off arm tackles from DBs as effectively). Where the blocking is less clean and he has to stop and start his feet, you can prettt clearly see his limitations (He becomes below replacement on those runs to my eye, which is why he has generally ended up with low overall ypc).

That being said he did baptize 20 on that one run. If we want to make him the designated chung li closer/4 min guy, I'm on board

Blount is running well right now. In the Chargers game he sometimes made his own holes by knocking an off-balance defender out of the way, so I disagree with #2 as well. He really does look like a different guy than he did in pre-season and game 1.
