Pensamientos Aleatorios ("Random Thoughts" for you Gringos)

Why is it that if a man kills another man in battle, it's called heroic, yet if he kills a man in the heat of passion, it's called murder?

Took a 7:45 flight home last night from Orlando, got home at about 11:30, got the kids in bed and had a night cap with the wife which somehow lasted til about 2. Woke up at 9:10 this morning and started working, I had been reading my emails while I was on vacation so I had a good handle on what was going on. Fired off responses to everything that needed to be addressed this morning, napped from 2-4, worked from 4-5:30 and now I'm celebrating national beer day. Good times

One of my clients is Kent State University. Their president is one of my favorite clients ever--she's a super smart, driven and overall, just an extraordinary woman who is doing great things for that school. She was just diagnosed with breast cancer yesterday. If any of you prayer filled folks can send a few her way, it'd be aces.

He shouldn't have rolled it with the cat inside.

is your cat small or is the box bigger than it seems in that link? I don't think my cat (or past cats) would climb in there multiple times a day

There's two sizes. We bought the 'large" one because the "regular" seemed too small. The litter area of the large one is at least as big as a normal litter box. We have two cats, one small, the other very large. Neither have a problem with it.

So are Pratt and I the only people here who loved Wayne's World?

It was (is) surprisingly good. Were there really no SNL movies between Blues Brothers and Wayne's World? Seem to remember being dubious due to the track record of the films, but maybe it was just the state of the show at the time that made people leery. People watching today would have rot take that into account of course, since an unfortunate side effect of the success of Wayne's World was the spate of almost uniformly awful spin-off films from the show's sketches.

My Dad impulse bought me a copy on VHS at McDonalds when I was 10. I watched it maybe 40 times as a kid.
